🍊OTPA’s “Heart of the City: Writing Close to Home in Old Towne Orange”
James Blaylock, acclaimed author, a pioneer of the steampunk genre, and a longtime resident of Old Towne Orange, joins us for this month’s OTPA education workshop highlighting the significance of storytelling. By blending real-life locations in Orange with his signature brand of magical realism, Blaylock creates a version of Orange that feels both comforting and deeply mysterious, in two of his recent novels.
James will share highlights from his books that reference Old Towne and give insights into the practice of preserving stories.
Bring any of your books by James for signing, or he may have his newest novel available for purchase and signing at the workshop.
An RSVP is necessary for this free event and only 25 spots are available!
ONE TICKET per attendee is REQUIRED.
ONLY 25 spots are available, please do NOT bring extra attendees that do not have a spot confirmed. Thank you!
